2차 목표:

I. 올란자핀이 메게스트롤 아세테이트와 비교하여 기준선에서 5% 이상의 체중 증가를 보고하는 환자의 비율이 더 높은지 여부를 결정합니다.

II. FAACT(Functional Assessment of Anorexia/Cachexia Treatment)-A/CS(거식증/악액질 하위척도) 기기를 사용하여 메게스트롤 아세테이트와 비교하여 올란자핀을 사용한 악액질/거식증 증상의 변화를 비교합니다.

개요: 환자는 2개의 팔 중 1개로 무작위 배정됩니다.

  • 가임 여성과 남성은 이 실험에서 사용된 요법의 기형 유발 가능성으로 인해 이 연구에 참여하는 동안 적절한 피임 방법을 사용하는 데 동의해야 합니다. 적절한 피임 방법에는 금욕, 경구 피임약, 이식형 호르몬 피임약 또는 이중 차단 방법(격막과 콘돔)이 포함됩니다.
  • 진행성 암 진단
  • 환자가 보고한 2개월간 최소 5파운드(2.3kg)의 체중 감소 및/또는 하루 20칼로리/kg 미만의 의사 추정 칼로리 섭취
