Entry Level - Software Engineer Support

Parexel is hiring an entry level individual to assist in creating, drafting, and finalizing client budget bid grid deliverables/tools for client opportunities for proposals and awarded contracts, as well as providing technical support across all business units.

Key AccountabilitiesOverall management and accountability for the creation and analysis of client budget bid grid deliverables/tools, including coordination of all Pre-Sales/Contracts/operational feedback, preparation, and review. Ensure smooth transition of final deliverables to the Pre-Sales production & Contracts Teams. Responsible for delivering technical analyses and outputs from department-developed applications, analyzing, and testing technical solutions developed by the department, assisting programming efforts (where appropriate) to support business needs Client Budget Bid grid Deliverables/Tools DevelopmentWork closely with ComOps production and contract management teams, the Pricing Team, and operational functions with client budget bid grid deliverables/tools development and analysis.Contact internal clients as needed to discuss challenges, specifications, resolutions.Draft budget bid grid deliverables/tools to:Assure accuracy and consistency of budgets presented in client budget bid grid deliverables/toolsEnsure appropriate and accurate mapping to client budget specificationsProvide quality client deliverable to strict deadlinesOther TasksDevelop and maintain technical analyses and outputs required by the business in support of production / contractual / pricing opportunities Participate in the development and testing of tools, procedures, and processesLead/participate in hand over meetings and training to the pre-sales, contracts teams and nonBusOps teams, as neededProvide end-users with ongoing technical support and guidance related to tools and applications / systems created / used by BusOpsQualificationsSkillsAbility to lead internal meetings Confident to communicate with all internal staff levels to gain support to complete assigned tasks.Comfortable and willingness to speak in front of a group of people.Proven ability to negotiate with all levels of internal staff.Highly organized with excellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent numeracy skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsComprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)Novice Understanding of the software/coding tools below and how to trouble shoot errors and correct them: (VBA/Visual Basic, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Web Design)Navigate and contribute to the development and maintenance of the internal team SharePoint site.Desired Work ExperiencePrefer proposal/contract/finance management and/or computer programming/technical support experiencePrefer CRO experienceEducationBachelor’s Degree preferred (ideally in Computer Science, Computer Information System, Life Science, Business or equivalent)Language SkillsFluent in English, oral and writtenEEO DisclaimerParexel is an equal opportunity employer.  Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to legally protected status, which in the US includes race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.
