The Regional Director, Pre -Sales role is to lead, manage, mentor and support the regional pre-sales team.
Key AccountabilitiesProvide Regional high level oversight of the proposal development process including preparation, pricing, revision and negotiation of proposalsServe as a resource to CRD/CSD and proposal teams in the development of recommendations regarding proposals to be developed and priced in a non-standard mannerLine manage staffLead staff to achieve department business objectivesQuality review and audit of processes and customer deliverablesSchedule and prioritizes workloadAssigns workload across regional teamAssist staff and BD in developing industry leading compelling proposalsStaff Training and developmentUtilize systems to monitor productivity and individual performance metricsMay have responsibility for local budgetMay develop and conduct training to proposal and other teamsSkills and Competencies Excellent team leadership skills in a high pressured, deadline driven environmentPossess a sales orientated, customer service work ethic, always approaches customer service with a “what else can we do” attitudeAbility to lead internal strategy meetingsHighly confident to deal with all internal and external staff levelsHighly organized with excellent oral and written communication skillsDetail orientatedExcellent numeracy skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsComprehensive knowledge of relevant software (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Databases)QualificationsEducation
Degree / further degree. MSc, MBA, Ph.D. or equivalent preferredScientific/Medical or Business backgroundLanguage Skills
