What will you do?

• Responsible for quality control. ensure test deliverables comply with relevant SOPs and work instructions.
• Perform requirement analysis, work with the team to address identified gaps, risks, and discrepancies
• Maintenance and creation of test cases, solid and clear structure which allow traceability when transiting project milestone
• Create software test plans detailing appropriate test methodologies, strategies, coverage, and setup. Ensuring seamless integration with the overall project’s direction and schedule
• Test the Functionality as per the Test plan and respective Test Cases
• Defect submission and analysis with supporting materials
• Pursue proper closure on reported defects. Participate in defect reviews, root cause analysis, and evaluation of proposed solution
• Clear and concise test result recording.
• Prepare final test report
• Automate functional manual test cases, performance, and stress testing 

How will you get here?

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics related major is preferred

Experience

3 to 5 years on the following:

• Proven working experience in Agile / Scrum development environment
• Knowledge of quality control methodologies and tools
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive results (test case, test recording, and test reports)
• Hands-on experience in Black box testing techniques for embedded devices/ instruments
• Experience with automated testing (pytest, Squish)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Enjoy the challenge of testing boundaries or edge cases that break software
• Able to provide usability feedback
• Experience with Linux systems 
• Testing experience with 21 CFR part 11 systems will be an advantage
