The Opportunity

IQVIA’s Real World Solutions is currently recruiting for a Associate Consultant Project Manager/ Epidemiologist to focus on design and delivery of secondary database real world research in APAC region. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with IQVIAs external health system / technology partners to contribute to the body of scientific evidence for improved patient care. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work with experienced consultants, researchers and data scientists to support the design, development and delivery of a wide range projects. Assignments range in complexity and delivery model, from developing new solutions to address specific client problems, to taking global and regional solutions to new clients.

Assignment Scope & Learning Opportunities:

(In collaboration with other team members)

Project manage the design, execution and reporting of real-world database (RWD) studies

Support project delivery including creating reports, presentations and other client deliverables, leading client meetings and workshops

Participate in project teams including data scientists, statisticians and consultants put together from across IQVIA APAC and other regions.

Conduct background research to define requirements from healthcare databases to meet study objectives and oversee the qualitative / quantitative feasibility assessments

Contribute to writing of study protocols, statistical analysis plans and study reports

Oversee development of abstracts, manuscripts and/or presentations to conferences for projects

Contribute to business development activities and proposal writing

Lead operational efficiencies of workflows, including writing of internal guidance documents

Requirements:

Masters or PhD (or an equivalent degree) in Epidemiology, Public Health or related discipline

Experience project managing complex projects with multi-disciplinary teams

Experience designing and executing retrospective epidemiological studies in existing databases

Great interpersonal skills including ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals

Strong problem solving, analytic, & project management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to meet short deadlines with high quality deliverables

Good level of adaptability and an ability to learn quickly and apply new knowledge

Fluency in English (spoken and written)

Experience working on multi-stakeholder healthcare research programs, such as government / industry partnerships or within industry

Prior experience in working with health organisations, governments and life science companies

Business development or sales experience

Relevant achievements in healthcare or business management
