Spectrum of Acute Flaccid Paralysis in Children Admitted at Sohag University Hospital
This study is observational study aims to study the Clinical profile, Possible risk factors and Outcome of Acute flaccid paralysis in children at Sohag University Hospital.
Our study will include all children admitted to pediatric emergency and intensive care units with claim or suspicion to have acute falccid paralysis

Detailed Description
This study is a single center, Observational Cross Sectional Hospital Based study aims to study the Clinical profile, Possible risk factors and Outcome of Acute flaccid paralysis in children aged from birth to 18 years old at Sohag University Hospital.
All included children with acute flaccid paralysis will be subjected to:
All routine investigation (complete blood count, C.R.P, blood gases, serum electrolytes, coagulation profile, liver and kidney function test) Imaging when indicated (Brain C.T, Brain and spine MRI, Nerve Conduction Study)

Description
Inclusion Criteria:
- All patients admitted to pediatric emergency and intensive care units with claim or suspected to have acute flaccid paralysis aged from 1 month Up to 16 years old
Exclusion Criteria:
- Children with flaccid paralysis due to causes other than neurogenic causes. No clear history or clinical picture of definite neurological cause. incomplete clinical data.

No expiremental intervention.
Data will be collected from routine cinical care, medical records and folow up visits according to standard hospital protocols
