Learning & Development Associate

Under general direction of the Sr. Director/Line Manager, the L&D Associate will be responsible for the management and coordination of assigned Functional and Management & Professional (M&PD) courses. This position works closely with other PAREXEL L&D associates and is a member of the Global Training Operations team. Provide administrative, logistics and training systems support related to training for PAREXEL employees and HR team members, Trainers, Specialists and other departments such as Process and Quality and various businesses/functions with the delivery and support of training activities. Coordinate c ross-functional training initiatives and system administration activities related to training. Requires employee to be primarily based on-site/in the office.
Key Accountabilities
Liaise with trainers and L&D/PAREXEL Academy team members to manage training sessions: organize training sessions based on input from Training Forecasts, ‘Expressed Interest’ reports and management sources, including venue selection, room booking, catering, training material production, site logistical support, LMS administration, as required
Communicate with training participants (e.g., confirmation of training, questions regarding logistics or no show, completion of class evaluations)
Generate training reports (e.g., Roster Management, Course Evaluation & Class completion reports) to provide information for the L&D metrics
Review L&D monthly Score Card to verify results and suggest data-driven process improvements to minimize training cost and enrich employees learning experience.
Provide LMS support and respond to general requests related to setting up classes in LMS, help employees when they cannot register for a class, or their participation is not shown in their training transcript
Prepare and compile training materials, often working with a local printing vendor to reproduce, as required
Participate in training related projects, as required
Review of “The Express Interest’ report and additional requests by internal clients to schedule & support additional training if required
Coordinate and participate in team conference calls and other meetings, as required
Prepare and maintain the annual Learning Calendar based on consumption and business requirements
Acquire additional information and skills to enhance job performance, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of PAREXEL’s systems, services, policies, and procedures
Engage in vendor management, program marketing and internal communication of training events in a specific country and/or region to maximize class enrollments and minimize training costs
Produce specific L&D reports as required using L&D reporting tools and processes, help analyze and interpret the results for actionable operational improvements.
Assist in administration, analysis and interpretation of learners’ feedback through LMS evaluations. Help increase learners’ response rate to further improve logistics management services and enhance learning experience.
Provide logistical process expertise in consulting clients about the delivery of cost-effective training solutions
Skills
Excellent written, email, and verbal communication skills
Analytical skills, with the ability to first collect relevant data and then make and recommend data-based decisions.
PAREXEL specific cross-functional experience, L&D functions and related training deliverables is preferable
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while ensuring First Time Quality and meeting aggressive deliverable timelines
High level of self-motivation with professional approach to work
Able to thrive in a rapidly changing environment, with minimal supervision
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple conflicting deadlines and competing priorities
Demonstrated abilities in problem solving
Experienced with MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Familiar with remote meeting set-up and technology (MS Teams, Zoom)
Detail orientated with high level of accuracy
Experience in dealing with confidential materials
Ability to communicate with senior management within PAREXEL and with external consultants/vendors
Forward thinking and proactive approach to work

Education
Educated to degree level (technology, biological science, pharmacy, or other health related discipline preferred) or equivalent qualification or clinical research experience
Language Skills
Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
Minimum Work Experience
Strong background in a corporate training and development function preferred
CRO Exposure is a plus
Exposure to Management Methodologies/Trainings like Lean/Six Sigma is an advantage
