  Job Summary We are seeking an Automation Platform Dev. Engineer - Laboratory Sciences for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV.

 

The following are responsibilities related to the Automation Platform Dev. Engineer:

Develops testing methodologies and approaches, and tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Collaborates with software engineers, equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of products, processes, test systems that require software solutions. Reviews computer and user needs; analyzes system capabilities and user requirements, prepares testing plans and test cases, executes tests, documents issues and possible product or process improvements, and manages the software testing lifecycle. Ensures software and system requirements and standards are met.

 

The following are minimum qualifications related to this position: Education:   BS or MS in a scientific or engineering discipline (preference for a biological or biomedical engineer). Experience:   At least 3 years of hands on assay automation and liquid handling experience.
