患者は I 型または II 型糖尿病を患っている必要があります。
しびれ、刺すような痛み、焼けるような痛み、うずくような痛み、異痛症、チクチクする感覚などの臨床的に診断された陽性の感覚症状があり、その症状が 5 年以内に存在し、6 か月間安定している。
HbA1C が 12% 以下である。 HbA1C が 9% を超える患者は、インスリン療法を受けなければなりません。

除外基準:
