主な包含基準:
- -1型または2型の糖尿病が原因と推定される慢性腎臓病の参加者
- -特定のレベルの腎機能を持つ参加者 - 血清クレアチニン (SCr) 1.3 から 3.3 mg/dl (115 から 291 マイクロモル/L) (女性を含む)、男性を含む 1.5 から 3.5 mg/dl (132 から 309 マイクロモル/L)、または推定糸球体濾過率 (eGFR) 20 ～ 60 mL/min/1.73 ㎡
- -尿中にタンパク質がある参加者-24時間尿タンパク質/クレアチニン比（PCR）が800 mg / g以上（91 mg / mmol以上）。
- 参加者は、ACE (アンギオテンシン変換酵素) 阻害剤または ARB (アンギオテンシン II 受容体遮断薬) の安定した許容可能な用量を服用しているか、これらの薬に耐えられない必要があります。

- 妊娠可能な女性、妊娠中または授乳中の女性参加者
