  • Vurder endringen i prosent brysttetthet og tett område som respons på aromatasehemmerbehandling fra forbehandling til 1 år, 1 år til 2 år og forbehandling til 2 år hos kvinner med invasiv brystkreft.
  • Bestem endringene i prosent brysttetthet og tett område som respons på aromatasehemmerbehandling fra forbehandling til 1 år og korreler endringene med endringer i plasmahormoner (f.eks. østron, østronsulfat, østradiol og kjønnshormonbindende globulin) og medikamentnivåer (anastrozol eller exemestan) i samme periode hos kvinner med invasiv brystkreft.
  • Bestem endringen over tid i prosent brysttetthet og tett område (fra forbehandling til tidsperioden før lokalt tilbakefall) i det kontralaterale brystet i korrelasjon til lokalt tilbakefall av brystkreft.

OVERSIGT: Dette er en multisenter, ledsagerstudie.

Pasienter fyller ut et 10-minutters spørreskjema om faktorer som kan påvirke endringer i brysttetthet ved baseline og et annet spørreskjema 1 år og 2 år etter registrering. Blodprøver tas ved baseline (før behandlingsstart) og 1 år etter registrering for hormon- og legemiddelnivåanalyse. Mammogrammer tatt før registrering (innen 12 måneder før påmelding) og ca. 1 og 2 år etter registrering til denne studien hentes og digitaliseres for bestemmelse av prosent brysttetthet og tett areal.

PROSJEKTERT PENGING: Totalt 550 pasienter vil bli påløpt til denne studien.

Beskrivelse

SYKDOMS KARAKTERISTIKA:

  • Histologisk bekreftet invasiv brystkreft
  • Fullstendig resekert sykdom

  • Ett intakt, ikke-kreftfremkallende bryst uten tidligere brystoperasjon i det brystet bortsett fra brystbiopsi

    • Mammogram tilgjengelig tatt innen 12 måneder før innmelding som inkluderer side- og ovenfra-og-ned-visning av det intakte, ikke-kreftfremkallende brystet
  • Østrogenreseptor- og/eller progesteronreseptorpositiv svulst

  • Godtar å hente og digitalisere mammografi tatt før registrering (innen 12 måneder før studiestart) og ca. 1 og 2 år etter registrering til denne studien

Pasienter fyller ut et 10-minutters spørreskjema om faktorer som kan påvirke endringer i brysttetthet ved baseline og et annet spørreskjema 1 år og 2 år etter registrering. Blodprøver tas ved baseline (før behandlingsstart) og 1 år etter registrering for hormon- og legemiddelnivåanalyse. Mammogrammer tatt før registrering (innen 12 måneder før påmelding) og ca. 1 og 2 år etter registrering til denne studien hentes og digitaliseres for bestemmelse av prosent brysttetthet og tett areal.
