Join our team in Denver, PA as a Research Associate where we are ma king exciting strides in Antibody Production & Generation and Vaccine Studies.  In this position you’ll develop and run ELISA and Cell Based assays independently. Responsibilities include but not limited to;

 Carry out enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) including performance of assay, quality control and data analysis. Perform general mammalian cell culture procedures. Creation and development of Monoclonal Antibodies Execute antibody characterization Contribute to research and development of new procedures and refine existing ones. Carry out cell-based assays with ability to develop new assays Train new members of the team in methods and procedures of the department. Participates in client conference calls as needed to provide technical assistance.

Requirements include:  Proficient with cell-based assays with ability to develop new assays. Proficient with antibody characterization methods. Strong experience in running ELISA assays  Possess technical knowledge of antibody production and provides guidance to the Antibody Reagents & Vaccines personnel.

This is a full time position with outstanding benefits that start soon after you join Covance including 24 days of PTO in the first year!  Education/Qualifications:Bachelor's or master’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or other related degree concentration. experience may be a substitution for education  Highly prefer candidates with 2-5 years of experience working with ELISA, Cell based assays, or antibody development. Ability to start a new position in the next 4-6 weeks 

  Experience:Self-starter with ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISA) Experience with mammalian cell culture techniques and cell-based assays. Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Strong organization and attention to detail. Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to research and learn new techniques quickly, perform work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
