Role & Responsibilities

As a Retail Pharmaceutical Analyst, you will be responsible for providing data analytics, supporting the maintenance and development of a suite of syndicated offerings for retail pharmacies. This includes leading investigations to address internal and external client queries, requiring research and coordination with the commercial team, formulating client responses.

Support in the investigating of both internal and external client queries.  Requires research and respond and work with a commercial team to share knowledge and support workload across various offerings and databases. 

Retail Analyst:

• Provides analysis and project management support in the delivery of syndicated offerings & ad hoc studies.
• Manages requirements gathering, providing recommendations to develop research plans, identifying appropriate data sources and delivery options to meet client needs.
• Performs analysis in support of offerings production and delivery cycles.
• Performs quantitative research, and provides summaries of study results to commercial and offerings lead.
• Participates in selecting or developing methodology for use in new offerings and analytics.
• May consult with clients in support of project delivery or requirements gathering.
• Performs routine data analysis to develop customer specific insights and solutions to customer business challenges.
• Validates / QA’s reporting methodologies supporting the business needs
• Proactively develops knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace with emphasis on wholesale and retail pharmacy

About You

The skills and behaviors required for this position include: Experience within the healthcare industry. Strong understanding of business intelligence tools is preferred, with emphasis on utilization and application. Demonstrated problem solving, analytical and customer service skills.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Four (4) years relevant analytics &/or pharmaceutical industry experience
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• Experience analyzing large amounts of data.
• Advantaged Knowledge of MS-Excel, MS-Access
• Knowledge of IQVIA datasets/databases an asset
• Knowledge SQL and relational database concepts
• Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare/Pharmaceutical industry
• Excellent organizational skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task
