We are recruiting for an exciting role in our sales team in Singapore, with a focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry (CMD) product portfolio.

Job Title: Sales Account Manager, Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD)

Discover Impactful Work:

As a Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining business relationships with our key customers and developing collaborations with them. You will develop targeted solution strategies for these customers, enabling them to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

A day in the Life:

  • Sales of the CMD portfolio tailored to the needs of customers

  • Independent and efficient support of the assigned accounts with sales responsibility for your sales territory.

  • Identification of new projects, development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve sales targets.

  • Cultivating key business relationships to increase customer loyalty (share-of-wallet) and to drive the renewal of the equipment fleet (incl. analytical instruments, software solutions).

  • Monitor competitive activity and industry trends, fosters competitive solutions to meet sales goals.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with application, technical, business development team (as well as any other internal partners) to provide technical expertise to the client.

  • Preparation of quotations, negotiation of contracts and order closure with end customers, as well as purchasing departments and support of all procurement processes.

  • Use SalesForce Dot Com (SFDC) CRM as the primary reporting tool. Organize and accurately forecast territory results, provide market intelligence, implement value selling and meet sales objectives.

  • Careful maintenance of customer and project data in the SFDC CRM system, as well as preparation and achievement of the monthly or quarterly budget plan.

Education

  • Bachelor or higher degree of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Engineering or scientific related field.

Experience
  • More than 3 years of sales experience with laboratory analytical instrumentation or capital instrument in academia, government, biotech, industrial settings.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Strong market knowledge and professional networks

  • Commercial mindset, strongly motivated by a desire to win new business, with demonstrated pursuit of opportunities

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Good data analysis and business planning skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • High energy, team player and capability of working under pressure

  • Self-motivated, initiative, open-minded, and detail-oriented

  • Computer literate in MS Office, CRM, SFDC

  • High willingness to learn CMD product portfolio
