Summary of Internship

Internship positions provide an opportunity for business, science or marketing students to get hands on experience in a marketing environment

Functions:
  • Take ownership and facilitate weekly sales training calls by coordinating and reviewing content with the presenters and proactively looking for ways to improve the content and audience engagement
  • Monitor and review pricing enquiries that are received through generic pricing email box to deliver a phenomenal customer experience and enable enquiries to be taken care of quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include monthly new product pricing and ad hoc pricing enquiries as well as any product sample requests
  • General marketing support for broad Biosciences marketing initiatives as the need arises. For example, management of printed brochure stock, editing cross business marketing collateral, collation of presentation decks and building of SharePoint sites
  • Working with the EMEA Biosciences Marketing lead and the EMEA Biosciences Cross Divisional Business leads on projects to support the team
  • Working with Marketing Campaign Specialists (MCS) and Marketing Operations partners to define and deploy the tactics and sales tools needed to support sales activation campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics to understand return on investment and revenue generation for specific marketing activities
  • Lead and co-ordinate the delivery of those marketing campaigns/tactics in the EMEA region by engaging with the right partners across Marketing Operations and the wider organisation, capturing and assigning actions, and ensuring those actions are completed for timely delivery of campaigns
  • Participate in deployment, tracking and budget management of regional sales activation campaigns as well as quarterly promotional activities

Keys to Success:

Education / Qualifications

  • Student currently studying a science, business or marketing bachelor’s degree
  • Students required to be available for a 12 month internship
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in Marketing

  • No previous experience required
