We are currently hiring a Human Resources Associate to work in our Global HR Services Team. This individual will be based in our Bloemfontein office, covering both local and EMEA activities. 

The HR Associate acts as a first point of contact and support for internal EMEA clients/managers and employees who require HR assistance, with using or accessing HR programs and processes. This person will work for the EMEA region, including the South Africa, and will be responsible for providing a timely and accurate responses or redirecting the inquiry, to help the employees resolve or address their needs.

The HR Associate takes care of the following tasks:

HR Service Delivery Support – answer HR related enquiries via email, ticketing and telephone for EMEA, including the UK and Ireland.  

Manage and prepare required reports for EMEA e.g. Leave of Absence, etc.

Responsible for preparing and maintaining employee documentation and records, in compliance with company and local/country requirements.

Generate miscellaneous standard reports.

Communication within the team, across HR as needed, and with clients, in general.

Other relevant tasks/duties, as required.

Qualifications;

Fluency in English as the company’s primary business language (verbal and written), any other additional local language is a plus.

Appropriate HR work experience in an international environment, previous experience in an HR Shared Service Centre or with HR Administration for the South Africa or EMEA.  

Ability to work effectively across departments and cultures.

Working knowledge of the role HR plays in the overall HR processes.

Very good written and oral communication and organizational skills.
