Our global Clinical Operations colleagues within our PPD® clinical research services provide end-to-end support for clinical trials from study start up to monitoring through to study close out, across commercial and government contracts. Together, we help clients define and develop clinical programs, minimize delays, and execute high-quality, cost-efficient clinical studies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of project management standards and practices• Basic consultancy skills• Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office, virtual training delivery platforms and various learning design and development software• Effective ability to query, compile, enter, track and maintain data and records management systems• Fundamental ability to translate issues into actionable business solutions• Close attention to detail and strong organizational skills to deliver high quality work within project timelines• Effective ability to deliver learning products, services and solutions in a collaborative and cross functional global environment, with an understanding of the user perspective• Effective oral presentation and written communication skills

Essential functions:

• Supports and collaborates with project teams to prepare, coordinate, document and/or provide the development and delivery of learning products and services to maximize content retention and support business outcomes and industry compliance.• Creates varied support materials, presentations, training programs, tools, simulations and/or micro learning components and modules.• Supports small projects that mature key learning programmatic capabilities and refine internal processes for the department.• Designs, develops and delivers educational, training and learning products and services for the business.• Prepares, coordinates and/or delivers pre-meeting, learning course and project working group materials, facilities and communications per established timelines and milestones.• Performs special projects, assignments and administrative tasks per business needs.• Provides “train-the trainer” sessions and Q&A support for management staff regarding development materials.• Manages appropriate documentation (i.e. assessments,Training Attendance Log, workplace aids, etc.), including copying, sorting and filing.• Enters and maintains instructor data in appropriate system for classes delivered. May develop, implement or deliver e-learning.• Communicates with system administrators to ensure new training items are appropriately entered in the catalogue.
