How will you make an impact?

As part of the site leadership team, you will lead and facilitate the Loughborough site PPI tools and structures. With a strong background in lean and continuous improvement tools and techniques you will support the site in delivery its PPI bowler objectives, facilitating complex site problem solving, and lead the PPI road map and drive continuous improvement cultural change on this COMAH regulated site with 160+ employees.

What will you do?

  • Leads, Maintains Facilitates and Embeds a ‘PPI’ Culture’ through training and engagement
  • Responsible for delivery of the PPI roadmap
  • Champions and Supports Continuous Improvement and Lean Thinking across the site
  • Identifies and drives site PPI Opportunities as well as the delivery of a site PPI Funnel
  • Leads and maintains all PPI Metrics providing reporting of such to the business at all levels
  • Partners with the Finance function to evaluate and confirm saving potentials
  • Validates productivity savings against the site P&L to ensure accurate accounting
  • Partners with other LCD Business Unit PPI and beyond on cross-functional/divisional activities
  • Facilitates and Participates in Kaizen and 8 Step Events to generate productivity and growth
  • Provides expert knowledge on Continuous Improvement including but not limited to; Tiered Daily Management, Problem Solving, Standardised Work, Gemba Walks, Leader Standard Work and 5S.

Preferred Hiring Criteria:

Education

  • Qualifications held within the continuous improvement tools and techniques/CI sphere (such as six sigma black belt or similar)

Experience

  • Proven Experience in PPI/Continuous Improvement or a similar role (Chemical Industry advantageous but could be any regulated industry).
  • Experience of bottling line operations.
  • Consistent record to drive cultural change within a dynamic and fast paced environment.
