Job Title: Laundry Assistant

Location: Swindon

Position Summary:

Ensuring garments are washed /folded and correctly stored away in a timely manner, prioritizing workloads to meet GMP needs.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all procedures are followed at all times.
• Performing daily clean of the controlled area of the laundry.
• Completing logbooks to GMP standards.
• Daily replenishment of Mob caps, over shoes, Beard Snoods, undergarments, Tyvek, 2 piece and lab coats.
• Changing hand gels four weekly in production areas marked with a four week expiry date
• Washing/folding/bagging prep suits, undergarments and micro prep suits in controlled area of the laundry.
• Washing/folding/bagging laundry for Milton Park, QC and Micro to include 2 pieces, lab coats, engineering and towels
• Collecting garments from changing areas
• Responsible for allocating and arranging the repair of the Lockers in the changing room
• Completing monthly Level 1 surveillance in area
• Responsible for placing Tack mats in changing area and personnel have clean garments on before they enter production foot print during fire evacuation.
• Liaising with stores to order and replenish stock levels
• Minor repairs and alterations
• Training new staff laundry procedures.

EH&S:

• Understand emergency procedures and follow safe systems of work.
• Ensure compliance with environment, health and safety and security policies and procedures, rules, signage and instructions at all times
• Ensure prompt reporting and investigation of all accidents, near misses and breaches of rules
