How will you make an impact?

The Project Manager III (PM) will provide end to end project management leadership (concept to completion) on the LSG Project Management Team, being fully responsible for the mechanisms which ensure successful delivery. You will lead cross-functional projects with diverse internal teams to meet business objectives and metrics. In this role, you will partner with Project Sponsors to drive the execution of critical operations, quality and supply chain initiatives that span across LSG and its divisions and business units. The successful PM will set-up and govern the overall schedule, communicate decision needs, control the budget, and report the progress of phases and major achievements.

What will you do?

  • Be accountable for the success of the project, ensuring execution of timelines and continuous organizational change to deliver timely results
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered within scope and budget
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant cross-functional teams and ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Identify key issues and risks, recommend options which are supported by a clear fact set and analysis, facilitate and broker individual and team decisions.
  • Leverage practical process improvement tools and techniques in all phases of project to make valuable contributions to the sponsor and business
  • Develop detailed project plans to measure progress and celebrate achievements
  • Lead project execution to ensure Project Management standards are deployed
  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare reports for leadership

How will you get here?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Science/Technical/Business subject area
  • 2+ years of project management and team leadership experience with strong background in leading projects from start to finish
  • Experience leading intricate projects spanning short to medium duration (3+ months)
  • Ability to present to senior leadership and work efficiently in a matrix environment
  • Ability to lead 2+ projects and partner with team members across different departments and time zones
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma in an industrial environment is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Ability to collaborate with peers at similar levels of the organization and report project status to Sponsors and team members
  • Strong familiarity with project management practices and methodologies including PMI Body of Knowledge
  • Effective oral and written communication and executive presentation skills
  • Process oriented and structured working style and capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Productive and collaborative contributor who can build strong professional relationships
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational influence skills
  • Strong attention to detail, time management

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $75,800.00 - $113,675.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
