Job Title: Category Manager

Location: Shanghai Jinqiao

Position Summary:Responsibility for development and delivery of sourcing and contracting strategies across 3 or 4 sub-category, familiar with procurement process, good communication and know sub-category market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support construction category sourcing
• Productivity knowledge, willing and pro-active work with category owner & internal collaborator to give the productivity for team
• Valuable output in supplier pool optimization & vendor management, with significant efficiency & improved service
• Could be a good interface between internal collaborator with supplier, to co-design, teamwork;
• Build up professional supplier panel, convince collaborator to agreement the strategy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree and above in Engineering, more than 6 years procurement experience
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate and lead a variety of complex procurement contracts
• Knowledge on category management including but not limited to pooling volumes, implementing category strategies, negotiations and supply base evaluation and management
• Working under pressure with many urgent case
• Excellent negotiator, communicator, and influence
• Experience leading procurement activities and souring strategic across a variety of spend areas
