Job Title-Deputy Manager – Supply Chain

Location-Mumbai

This position is also responsible for the timely processing, coordination, and communication of export and import of orders. This also includes processing, scheduling, and coordination of all domestic and international shipments, including invoicing, documentation and transportation. Will multitask and prioritize while resolving customer issues in a timely manner.

The Customer Experience Team Lead provides leadership to the team to enable a positive customer experience while achieving company goals and objectives. Responsible for training and development, scheduling, process improvements, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements for all phases of internal and customer orders from receipt of customer order to delivery. Coordinating with internal resources to resolve customer related issues with focus on balancing expectations of our customers with our company goals.

Our ideal candidate would have some understanding of these oligos product lines; have some experience with the Thermofisher.com web ordering and design tools; have understanding of our E1 and SAP ERP's; as well as have the demonstrated the ability to build superlative positive relationships within departments; and provide Best In Class experiences for our oligos customers. We are looking for a professional who is flexible and can help coordinate customer inquiries as well as use our systems and other workflow tools for assist with feasibility, pricing, proper sku usage and recommendations, coordinating of order placement, custom oligos order posting, and communicating information between multiple specialty oligos focused departments and the Genomic Orders department. A successful candidate will have demonstrated analytical and follow up skills as well.

Sound understanding of commercial documentation such as Letter of Credit, Bank guarantees, Inco-terms etc to help customer fulfil the obligations for timely order execution.

Expert in customer relationship management and other customer centric initiatives.

Inventory Management

Inventory Planning & Control, thereby ensuring ready availability of products to meet customer demand.  

Procurement

Procure to Pay Process.

Analytics and Metrics

Critical metric reporting on supply, inventory and supply chain costs to include customer service, plan vs. actual- inventory Planning and managing the projects, ensuring completion of assignments within time and budgetary parameters.

Candidate Requirement

Education & Experience levels:

Graduated from any Stream

MBA/PG Diploma in Supply Chain is preferred  

8- proven experience in Commercial Operations.
