Job Title: Senior Associate - Operations
Location: Horsham
Shift Pattern: Mon - Fri 6 am - 2:15 pm 38.75 hours weekly

Position Summary:
Manage, coach and mentor teams to work within any of the following ambient and cold chain operational areas as identified in the Role of the Team Leader;
Packaging
Inventory
Despatch
Key Responsibilities:
Activities to be carried out in accordance with statutory, regulatory and company policies and procedures
Maintain good housekeeping and promote a safe working environment
Highlight and address potential Health and Safety and Quality risks, near misses and accidents to Line Management
Coordinate Health and Safety and Quality incident investigations and actions
Maintain compliance through training and competency programme
Focus on internal customers (Quality, Engineering, Business Planning, HR, IT, Facilities) and external customers (Clients, Regulatory Bodies, Contractors, Suppliers) priorities
Support department induction programme
Manage a team focused on job and schedule accomplishment
Lead department coaching and mentoring, development and training
Demonstrate Role Model Leadership proficiencies
Allocation and optimization of resource and prioritizing of outputs to business needs
Maintain and improve process efficiencies to achieve business objectives
Understand, support and mentor team in applying PPI/Lean tools for process improvement
Initiate and handle small teams to work on initiatives
Develop, maintain, trend and report Key Performance Indicators
Sign off time sheets, raise Purchase Orders and administration of absence management
Undertake any other duties on an ad-hoc basis as required by your Line Manager
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent experience/qualification (including English and Mathematics)
Previous Microsoft suite experience
Worked within a GMP or operational environment
Proficient in use of electronic and automated equipment
