Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Sr IT Architect with exceptional problem-solving skills to join our world-class team at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. Responsibilities:

  • Determine and lead the architecture and design of complex IT solutions
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure flawless execution of projects
  • Successfully implement and integrate new technologies and systems
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Conduct regular assessments to ensure the security and stability of IT infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale IT projects
  • Extensive understanding of IT architecture principles and effective techniques
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to compete effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++; experience with cloud-specific languages and technologies like PowerBI, Fabric, and other "PowerMS" skills is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and AI.
  • Familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience in prototyping and testing AI-driven solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Familiarity with LANGchain and/or LLAMAIndex preferred.
