Location/Division-Specific Information:

This position is within the Genetic Sciences Division a division of the Life Sciences Group. Genetic Sciences enables genomic discoveries and decisions through our innovative genetic analysis technologies, workflows, and services in the fields of cancer research, human identification, animal health and Agri-genomics, reproductive health, and molecular diagnostics. We support researchers, labs, and clinicians in advancing scientific discovery and improving global health outcomes by providing outstanding genetic analysis platforms and solutions. Our powerful portfolio includes real-time PCR, Sanger sequencing and microarray analysis. Technology applications include genomic analysis, genetic testing, forensics, reproductive health, Agri-genomics and animal health, and human diagnostic testing.

Discover Impactful Work

This role involves making outbound calls to qualify and nurture leads generated from various marketing campaigns and data science projects. These campaigns include webinars, digital handbooks, in-person events, trade shows, customer analytics programs, and specific instrument and consumables projects for different business units. The purpose of these calls is to engage with customers and guide them further along the sales funnel towards making a purchase. The person in this position will also be responsible for qualifying leads and providing reports on all activities. This will help measure the success of these campaigns more accurately and enhance the quality of opportunities sent to sales teams.

A Day in the life

  • Determine and qualify potential leads through research and data analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective lead generation strategies
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for lead generation
  • Maintain a flawless database of qualified leads and ensure timely follow-up
  • Compete in a fast-paced environment to meet and exceed lead generation targets

Keys to Success

Education

  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in a science field.

Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in lead generation or related marketing roles.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate a customer-centric mindset and possess the ability to engage customers in meaningful conversations.
  • Proficient in effectively communicating with customers through both phone calls and email.
  • Strong motivation to achieve goals and produce effective outcomes
  • Strict attention to detail to ensure accurate lead qualification

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $66,000.00–$88,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
