Role Purpose:

  • Directs all phases of human resources for US CSMS Region. Partners with the business and external customers supported, providing subject matter expertise and direction on human resources issues, including co-employment risk mitigation, sales IC, organizational design and salesforce effectiveness measures. Ensures quality operations of human resources processes. Typically supports multiple senior executives/management constituents. Oversees HR Operations team that supports 1,800+ field employees.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Understands business partner/client markets and translates strategy into proactive human resources plans to enable successful achievement of business results.
  • Provides guidance and oversees management of human resources operations team and related activities such as recruitment, performance review, benefits, training and employee relations, and resolves problems requiring senior management intervention. Recruits, optimizes, retains and develops people and capabilities that enable achievement of business results.
  • Executes compensation, benefits, employee relations, and policy initiatives, processes and disciplines for client groups. Facilitates, coaches and designs organizations & processes that enable achievement of business results. Reviews trends within the organization in turnover, hiring, promotions and separations and advises on strategy. 
  • Designs and implements agreed to actions needed to adjust unfavorable trends. Maintains positive employee relations by advising management on the resolution of employee relations and communications issues.
  • Plans, develops and implements near-term and long-range human resources plans that are effective in addressing organization issues and consistent with the business goals and operating strategies of the business.
  • Organizes plans for human resources initiatives with assistance and counsel from HR specialists and integrates those plans across businesses/functions to ensure synergy and coordination.
  • Communicates human resources strategies, initiatives, and processes to client businesses.

Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and a minimum of nine (9) years related Human Resources experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of human resources policies and procedures as well as national and local laws.  MS or MBA preferred for additional business acumen.

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and Power Point.  Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, consult and influence behavior. In-depth knowledge of IQVIA, its culture and markets.  Business acumen.  Ability to assess, develop and broker talent.  In-depth organizational development skills – organizational design, facilitation, coaching, workforce planning and process re-engineering skills.  Broad expertise in all fields of Human Resources.  Preferred, but not required, prior experience with co-employment risk mitigation. Preferred, but not required, experience supporting sales leaders and/or experience with CSO models.
