As an Associate Metrologist you will ensure proper preventative maintenance, qualification, calibration, and operation of analytical instrumentation to FDA/GMP standards. Independently execute assigned preventative maintenance, calibration, and qualification protocols. Your ability to perform and document work in accordance with standard operating procedures and established maintenance schedules to meet regulatory requirements are an integral piece in helping PPD accomplish our goal of helping bring life-changing therapies to market.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification. Technical positions may require a certificate.Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 2 years) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Understanding of FDA and GMP regulations and requirementsKnowledge and understanding of laboratory instrumentation and equipmentWorking knowledge with systems in use at PPD or within the CRO/Pharmaceutical IndustryTroubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skillsClient focused approach with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and all levels of staffAbility to work in a collaborative team environment
