Position/Location Specific Information

  • Sr Building Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift
  • This position is based out of our Plainville, MA site within Pharma Services Group (PSG).

What will you do?

  • Works with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Completes emergency repairs as needed
  • Completes preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits required by regulatory agencies
  • Utilizes Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager to document on-demand and planned maintenance in a validated maintenance system
  • Orders and maintains inventory of spare parts, consumables
  • Monitors Facilities equipment daily via BMS, troubleshooting problems
  • Coordinates the services of outside vendors when necessary
  • Identifies existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining required documentation including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to Company procedures and the requirements of external parties
  • Documents daily facilities equipment operation and maintenance activities. Performs plant rounds and records readings on various systems
  • A detailed working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; proficiency in more than one trade
  • Proven communications, customer service and technical skills

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Minimum High school diploma or Equivalent(GED)
  • Preference given to candidates with Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Requirements:

  • Willing to work overtime as needed and participate in planned Manufacturing shutdown activities w/ overtime
  • Preferred Language is English
  • Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification in a mechanical and/or electrical trade
  • Prior experience repairing HVAC/refrigeration systems preferred
  • *Will be required to obtain a plant specific, special boiler operators license in the future*

  • Electrical

  • Water Pre-Treatment Systems
  • Refrigeration
  • Chillers
  • Building Repairs
  • Electrical generators and transfer switchgears
