As Physical Security Manager and member of the regional Facilities & Administration Department, you will  deliver the range of services provided by  the Security Operations Facilities team to  different ICON offices.

The role:

This role serves as a key central point of contact for Physical Security for all levels of management in ICON and contributes significantly to the creation of, and compliance with, security procedures, standards, policies, specifications and training in ICON globally while driving continuous improvements in Physical Security in all locations. 

As a Manager of Physical Security in the F&A Dept, you will directly report  to the Global Director , Security Operations in our headquarters based in Dublin . You will be responsible for the implementation of ICON’s Physical Security Policies, Procedures and Technology Specifications in ICON locations throughout the world.

Some of the responsibilities are:

  • Be the subject matter expert for Physical Security technologies, Physical Security and related Safety Awareness Training; will also be responsible of the delivery of training globally. Project Management and implementation of Physical Security technologies

  • Coordinate responses to physical security incidents. Incident response and investigations may require out-of hours support.

  • Ensuring customer Audits are supported and internal audits are carried out.

  • Leads Security related communications, promotes security awareness, uses communications channels to facilitate the distribution of time sensitive security information.

  • Responsible for providing on-going support, analysis, planning, implementation and deployment of access control infrastructure (both hardware & software).

  • Will work closely with the Facilities Projects teams and Security System Integrators in designing, engineering, implementing, commissioning physical security including Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm & Alarm Monitoring in ICON locations globally.

  • This role is responsible for delivery of Physical Security related training programs such as Workplace Violence, Security Awareness & Loss Prevention in all offices globally and serves as a key point of contact for regional Physical Security matters including incident investigation, analysis and response and audit compliance.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

  • Monitoring and assessing the performance of the global physical security systems.

  • Analyze global security systems architecture and processes to identify critical gaps and strategic value opportunities.

  • Managing a regional or global systems budget, vendor relationships, and reporting metrics.

  • Design of Physical Security Systems & Technologies in the workplace.

  • Project Management – significant experience in working on Physical Security technology implementation in construction and fit out projects.

You will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (security system integrator, security, criminal justice, electrical engineering, etc)

  • Physical Security Professional (PSP) certifications preferred.

  • Proven working experience in a similar role in global companies

  • Significant experience with LENEL Access Control Systems and similar systems both enterprise and stand alone systems, as well as CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Panic alarms

  • Mandatory advanced English level.

  • Ability to travel 10%-40% of the time to different offices worldwide (international)

  • The position will be based in Mexico City .
