Job Description

DUTIES: Work on Salesforce configuration including Validation rules, Workflow rules, Approval Process, Email Alerts, Email Templates, Lightning Flow, Process Builder, Formula Fields, Picklist fields, Quick Actions, and Automated flow actions.

Work on workarounds and best practices for Salesforce Governor Limits for Coding and Configuration.

Troubleshoot configuration and customization issues in Salesforce environment.

Develop User Interface within Salesforce platform using Lightning Web Components, Aura Components and VisualForce Pages.

Work on different Salesforce platforms like Sales and Service modules.

Perform Data manipulation process of imports/exports using Salesforce supported ETL tools like Data Loader, Workbench and Demand Tools.

Perform Salesforce Application Support, Security Administration, Querying using SOQL and SOSL.

Perform DevOps process, Change Management and Release management to support Salesforce Applications.

Travel: Up to 25% domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study plus 3 years of IT experience in Salesforce, or related experience. Master’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study plus 1 year of IT experience in Salesforce, or related experience.

Required knowledge or experience with:

Salesforce platform, Sales Cloud and Service Cloud;

Developing Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce Pages, Aura Components, Lightning Web Components and Unit Tests;

Data Load tools like Data Loader, Workbench and Demand Tools;

Working on Validation Rules, Workflow Rules, Process Builders, Lightning Flows, Approval Process and Formula Fields; and

Agile Methodologies.
