How will you make an impact?

You will be part of a team working on infrastructure management as well as improving systems reliability. Your efficient contribution will help the business and the company to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer

What will you do?

  • Provide L3 Operational/Engineering support for Azure Cloud infrastructure.
  • Participate in Cloud infrastructure improvements and maintenance activities.
  • Handling the service management work queue to address customer requests within the established service level agreements.
  • Participating in the on-call rotation with other team members to ensure vital support coverage for the global infrastructure.
  • Ensure the highest possible level of server uptime and availability by proactively identifying and fixing infrastructure related problems.
  • Bring automation to improve efficiency.

How will you get here?

Education

  • B.Tech/ B.E in Computer Science or equivalent required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 7 + years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Azure Engineering experience for a large-scale company.
  • Minimum 2+ years of L3 operational support experience
  • Proven experience with either Windows Server Administration or Linux Administration

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Good understanding of cloud architecture styles and design patterns for Azure, AWS, and On-Prem cloud.
  • Knowledge of programming, scripting, and configuration languages
  • Proficiency with Azure Resource Manager, Resource Groups, Virtual Networks, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Blob Storage, PowerShell DSC, Azure Automation, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Site Recovery
  • Proficiency in either Windows Server administration or RedHat Linux OS Administration
  • Experience with VMware Virtualization and AWS Cloud technologies is an added advantage !.
  • Experience in working with geographically distributed teams.
  • An attitude of continuous improvement in process with security standard methodologies and cost-effectiveness
  • Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, analyze, plan, coordinate and prioritize work.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to present technical information to both business and technology teams with clarity and precision.
