Position summary:

The Project Manager position has ownership for successful implementation of supply chain improvement projects across all LP manufacturing & distribution sites. This position will lead all aspects of the project management including but not limited to scope, functional requirements, schedule, risk, quality, resources, external partners and consultants. This role requires influencing employees and leaders across multiple functional teams, setting timelines, ensuring projects stay on track and reporting progress to leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads definition of project scope, technical requirement, goals and timelines while ensuring all business requirements are fully incorporated.
  • Develops project estimates, plans and approaches to lead end-to end project execution.
  • Lead and work with external professional service partners, consultants and suppliers.
  • Track project timelines and report status to team members and functional leaders at regular cadence.
  • Develop cross-functional leadership influence to empower team members while holding them accountable for task completion and timelines.
  • Identify and handle potential risks, set in place mitigation plans and bring up roadblocks for resolution as required.
  • Lead change communication and drive successful adoption of new tools and processes at each site
  • Ensure project closure including completion of lessons learned and required documentation that includes standard operating procedures

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, IT or Business Administration required.
  • 7+ years of supply chain project management or IT project management experience within hi-tech manufacturing.
  • Kinaxis® Rapid-Response Author-Level 1 certificate desirable
  • PMP certification highly desirable

Experience and Skills:
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (SIOP, capacity analysis, integrated planning & factory scheduling etc..)
  • Understanding of ERP systems SAP®, BAAN®, JDE E1 Oracle®,
  • Prior experience in leading large-scale project across multiple sites
  • Strong communication skill in translating complex supply chain situations into terms clearly understood by various collaborators.
  • Problem solving skills combined with pragmatic problem-solving competence.
  • Ability to prosper and build networks in a matrix environment.
  • Credible track record of handling communication and effecting lasting change.
  • Ability to work independently, initiating own tasks with mentorship from manager and leading multiple tasks within timelines.
