Job Description

The Endpoint Services Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and influencing our global tools and configuration changes on client systems, software, and related infrastructure and how it affects end-user colleagues. This individual participates in technical research and support to enable continuing innovation and solution creation. This individual ensures that client management tools, client operating systems, client software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and enrich the colleague experience.

This individual will assist project teams with technical issues in the planning and support phases of our standard Project Management Methodology and will provide supplementary data where needed. These activities include the definition of needs, benefits, and technical strategy; research & development within the project's life-cycle; technical analysis and design; support of operations staff and end-users, testing and rolling out the solutions.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Discovery, Engineering, and support of solutions for various project and operational needs.
  • Maintain centralized reporting for department metrics to be ingested among the team and with the ITSLT groups and Service Delivery teams.
  • Supply and maintain system standards.
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that use our resources and provide economies of scale.
  • Investigate, document, and solve issues.
  • Develop and create end-user, technical and process documentation as needed.
  • Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject authorities.
  • Develop and offer opportunities to improve Corporate Infrastructure & Security platforms
  • Generate and maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
  • Provide and cultivate open cross-team communications and updates

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of direct and applicable professional experience in the IT field required.
  • Experience supporting Windows, OSX, Android and iOS.
  • Experience with technical user documentation and guidance to non-technical audiences.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to respond professionally.

  • Position deals with a variety of problems and sometimes has to decide which answer is best. The question/issues are typically clear and determine which answer (from a few choices) is the best.
  • Interpret and/or discuss information with others, which involves terminology or concepts not familiar to many people; regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving complex issues. May resolve problems within established practices.
  • Provides occasional guidance, some of which is technical.
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
  • Some travel may be required.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$105,000.00.
