We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as the Director, Life Sciences Consulting, Digital Science. In this role, you will have the outstanding opportunity to lead Digital Science life sciences consulting engagements with some of our largest bio pharmaceutical customers. Responsibilities:
  • Position Thermo Fisher Scientific as a leader in life and laboratory science digitalization.
  • Identify customer needs, develop and craft effective customer value propositions, sales proposals, and solution plans broadly representing Thermo Fisher capabilities.
  • Lead end-to-end consulting engagements spanning solutions design, architecture and implementation to enable digital transformation in discovery research, preclinical sciences and bio pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Provide thought leadership and domain expertise to internal teams and customers alike.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to rapidly advance the capabilities of our digital platforms and deliver impactful solutions to customers.
  • Partner with the global professional services team to evaluate solutions, alternatives, review architecture, and provide input into delivery planning.
  • Support the expansion of the Thermo Fisher Scientific digital ecosystem, identifying and engaging with relevant industry partners.

Requirements:
  • Relevant life sciences or equivalent education.
  • Proven track record in life sciences consulting, identifying customer needs, developing impactful solutions, commercial proposals, and delivering digital transformation solutions.
  • 10 years or more of pre- and post- sales customer relationship and engagement management experience in a technology consulting or enterprise software company.
  • In-depth knowledge of bio pharmaceutical research, preclinical, and manufacturing technologies, business challenges, and key industry trends.
  • Creative problem solver with excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Results focused, with a proven track record of getting things done with attention to detail and focus on quality.

This is a remote position located in Massachusetts.
