Location/Division Specific Information:

Labeling Department at the Grand Island, New York site. This position is scheduled 3rd shift Monday to Friday.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

A Day in the Life:

  • Collaborate with manufacturing team to acquire accurate label details required for labeling purposes, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards.
  • Use enterprise resource planning system and label software to print labels, ensuring all vital information is accurately entered and printed according to the label templates.
  • Manage and input data into label templates, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the final printed label. Regularly update and maintain these templates to reflect any changes or revisions in the labeling requirements.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
  • Required: Minimum of 1 year of work in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong attention to detail for complex instructions and documentation while maintaining quality output. Demonstrated proficiency in multiple processes in a fast-paced work environment.
  • General understanding of technical, mechanical, and machinery equipment is helpful. Label design software or database management system knowledge is preferred.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with manufacturing, planning, quality, and other stakeholders to gather vital information and resolve any labeling-related issues.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
  • Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 50 pounds and may be required to stand for extended periods of time while performing duties. Ability to squat, bend, and reach different items to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ability to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, beard guard (when required), safety glasses, and gloves. PPE may also include a bump cap, face shield, and full/half-face respirators.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $16.95–$21.00.
