Specialist, Patient Recruitment - Mexico City
The Patient Recruitment Specialist will support the assigned Sr. Specialist/Manager/Sr. Manager with the development and execution of Patient Recruitment and Retention strategies and tactics appropriate to the awarded study needs and in alignment with the Sponsor requirements.
The Role
- Support assigned Sr. Specialist/Manager/Sr. Manager Patient Recruitment in the preparation of presentation materials for Kick Off Meetings, Study Team Meetings, as needed
- Attend and support assigned Sr. Specialist/Manager/Sr. Manager Patient Recruitment at internal and external and project meetings to discuss recruitment and retention strategies/tactics, as needed
- Support the development and execution of patient recruitment and retention activities, including the development and review of materials and media campaigns
- With minimal oversight, develop and maintain study trackers
- Develop, review and execute Vendor Statement of Work (“SOW”), submit requisitions in ICON’s purchasing system
- Support management of vendors, including the quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
- With minimal oversight, initiate and track IRB/EC submissions, translations, and material production and distribution
- Ensure that study materials are saved to the Patient Recruitment BOX appropriately, including but not limited to study materials, presentations, tracking/metrics, and close-out report/case study
- File patient recruitment study materials in eTMF in accordance with File Management Plan and track to ensure 100% compliance
- Work with the assigned Sr. Specialist/Manager/Sr. Manager to ensure lessons learned are documented and case studies developed
What you need
- Minimum of 3 years CRO or similar industry experience, including a minimum of 1 year of patient recruitment experience
- Bachelor’s degree, or local equivalent, in a life-science or related discipline, medical and / or communication or relevant experience required.
- General knowledge of Good Clinical Practices
- Proficient computer skills including MS-Office (e.g. Word, Excel)
- Sound interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate with team members clearly and concisely
- Work successfully in a virtual global team
- Able to troubleshoot potential issues and make decisions with input from line manager
- Able to work independently with regular oversight/guidance from Sr. Specialist/Manager/Sr. Manager and Line Manager
- Able to manage time effectively in order to meet daily metrics and team objectives
- Accountable for own deliverables
- No travel required.
