ResponsibilitiesPerform research assignments in the lab.Collaborate with Research Scientists and ICL Sponsors to develop, optimize, and validate new molecular, tissue or cell-based assays. Collaborate with laboratory staff and Scientific Affairs to present publications and marketing material. Participate in client interactions regarding assay development and validations. Prepares reagents as needed, maintains quality control records, compiles any required statistical data and maintains the cleanliness of work areas. Responsible for the performance of required manual procedures and operation of automated instrumentation. Support sample testing in global clinical trials through scientific collaboration with Laboratory Operational staff in assay quality, expected results, troubleshooting and data review. *Review departmental activities to ensure efficient and effective processes are in use, striving for continuous quality improvement including instrument operation, standardization, and inventory control.Collaborate with Global Validations (as needed) to validate and implement new assays in clinical trials.Lead review of SOPs to ensure they remain relevant, and staff is in compliance. Writes SOP and validation summaries as required.

RequirementsAt least 2 years' experience with flow cytometryBachelors Degree in science related field
