JOB OVERVIEW
Job Profile Summary Leads the Clinical Trial Payments Financial Forecast Service Offering through the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to help drive business growth. Assess existing and potential markets and customer segments, including trends therein. The role is responsible for engaging with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, conducting research and analysis, and translating those data into executable and effective outputs and strategies to enable growth.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
• Responsible for the CTP Financial Forecasting Service Offering including technology, development, service launch plan and delivery
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of designated markets and customer segments, monitoring and reporting on new developments and trends.
• Leads the development and directs the implementation of the Financial Forecast plans for designated markets and customer teams/segments
• Responsible to ensure financial forecast technology is fit for scale and is enhanced to support mass volumes and complexity of clinical trials
• Analyzes and recommends cost-effective and appropriate business intelligence solutions to senior management, operations management and business development personnel in order to support business growth
• Oversee and support development and testing activities for the financial forecast technology
• Oversee business requirements, output and delivery of financial forecasting and accrual reporting
• Oversee and manage integration with other internal technologies such as Central Data Hub, Study Optimizer, GrantPlan, etc.
• Establish launch plan for internal and external customers including but not limited to; timing, prioritization, staffing plans, training plans
• Preparation and launch of internal training and roll out plans
• Publication of CTP Financial Forecast documentation including but not limited to; RACI, SOPs, Work Instructions, Intake Requirements, Technical Inputs, Calculations and Assumptions
• Responsible for training of the Sales and Business Development on CTP Financial Forecast offering
• Support Sales in pitching services to new and existing clientele including preparation of sales collateral
• Collaboration with Marketing Team to announce and promote launch of CTP Financial Forecast Offering into the market
• Utilize market trends and feedback to continuity enhance offering, make recommendations for process or systems improvements
• Continuous expansion and improvement of CTP Financial Forecasting capabilities and service offering
• Support the operations improvement initiatives as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Experience
Typically requires a minimum of 7 – 10 years of prior relevant experience.

Education

Additional Work Experience

Experience in the pharmaceutical clinical trial, financial, or IT roles/industries
Working knowledge of clinical trial process, ideally with specific knowledge on investigator contracts and essential site documents;
Experience in financial forecast and accrual reporting and analysis;
Experience with a business intelligence application such as MicroStrategy or Spotfire X
