Study Plan

This section provides details of the study plan, including how the study is designed and what the study is measuring.

How is the study designed?

Design Details

  • Primary Purpose: Treatment
  • Allocation: Randomized
  • Interventional Model: Parallel Assignment
  • Masking: None (Open Label)

Arms and Interventions

Participant Group / Arm
Intervention / Treatment
Experimental: Retraction of Maxillary Anterior Teeth (en-mass) with conventional methods.

Standard en-masse retraction using conventional orthodontic mechanics without adjunctive acceleration techniques.

Experimental: Retraction of Maxillary Anterior Teeth (en-mass) aided with low level LAZER therapy.

Application of low-level laser therapy (LLLT) as an adjunct to conventional en-masse retraction to accelerate tooth movement.

Experimental: Retraction of Maxillary Anterior Teeth (en-mass) aided with piezocision method.

Minimally invasive surgical procedure (piezocision) used alongside conventional mechanics to facilitate accelerated tooth movement during en-masse retraction.

What is the study measuring?

Primary Outcome Measures

Outcome Measure
Measure Description
Time Frame
Impact of Various Acceleration Techniques on En-masse Retraction of Maxillary Anterior Teeth
Time Frame: Base line (T0), 1 month (T1), 2months (T2), and 3months(T3) after the start of retraction

To evaluate and compare the rate and amount of en-masse retraction of maxillary anterior teeth using different orthodontic acceleration techniques through digital software analysis.

Base line (T0), 1 month (T1), 2months (T2), and 3months(T3) after the start of retraction
