Kvalificerede patienter vil blive udvalgt fra cirka 200 lægepraksissteder (f.eks. lokalsamfundsbaserede, kontorbaserede, hospitalsbaserede, akademiske omgivelser) i flere EU-lande, Mellemamerika, Nordamerika og Sydamerika samt Australien og Israel.

Inklusionskriterier:

  • Diagnose af inoperabelt eller metastatisk melanom
  • Alder på 18 år eller ældre på tidspunktet for optagelse i undersøgelsen
  • Patienter, der har påbegyndt behandling for uoperabelt eller metastatisk melanom i lægepraksis (f. lokalsamfundsbaseret, kontorbaseret, hospitalsbaseret, akademisk indstilling) inden for 21 dage før informeret samtykke til denne undersøgelse ELLER i det tilfælde, hvor behandlingen endnu ikke er påbegyndt, dokumentation for, at behandlingsstrategien blev fastlagt før informeret samtykke til denne undersøgelse, og behandling skal påbegyndes inden for 28 dage efter informeret samtykke
  • Ipilimumab-behandlede patienter skal modtage behandling for den eller de indikationer, der er godkendt i deres bopælsland, eller hvor de modtager behandling

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Aktuel eller afventende deltagelse i et klinisk forsøg, der undersøger terapi til behandling af enhver kræftsygdom (inklusive ikke-operabelt eller metastatisk melanom)
  • Nuværende brug af terapi til behandling af en anden primær cancer end melanom
