Senior Principal Clinical Database Programmer

The Senior Principal Database Programmer is a seasoned Principal Database Programmer who is recognized as a subject matter expert, providing technical support and expert advice to internal and external sponsors. In addition, the Senior Principal Database Programmer can take over the role of the Primary programmer on projects; liaise with sponsors, Data Management Leads and other functional areas as required. General areas of responsibility also include eCRF design, edit check programming and integration of third party systems with the EDC databases. Further, the Senior Principal Database Programmer will monitor quality, timelines, resource allocation, and productivity in relation to budgets. All tasks should be performed in accordance to corporate quality standards, SOPs/Work Instructions/Guidelines, ICH-GCP and/or other international regulatory requirements.

At the partnership or programme level, the Senior Principal Database programmer will maintain oversight of standards and delivery and manage a group of Programmers to ensure client satisfaction and harmonization of deliverables within the partnership or programme.QualificationsBachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant science discipline is preferred or equivalent work

experience.
