Senior NLP Engineer

Job Introduction:

At Parexel, we are a leading Clinical Research Organization company specializing in delivering life-changing medicines to patients. We are seeking a Senior NLP Engineer to join our team. As a Senior NLP Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cutting-edge AI NLP/machine learning platforms. Your expertise will contribute to the success of our projects and help us drive innovation.

Who we are looking for:

Innovative individuals with proven experience working as an NLP Engineer or in a similar role. Who are passionate and knowledgeable of NLP/machine learning engineering principles and methodologies and exhibit proficiency in design, integration, testing and troubleshooting. That possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills while demonstrating impeccable communication skills.

What you’ll do:

• Leverage proprietary NLP technology stack to build custom machine learning models.
• Build internal frameworks, libraries, and infrastructure to improve machine learning and NLP capabilities to allow for rapid prototyping and new product delivery.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, clinical annotators, and product managers to identify and advance industry state-of-the-art NLP technologies, build and maintain NLP roadmap, and implement best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define and implement features to satisfy customer requirements.

Additional details:

Technical Tools: Python is required. Git, Github, scientific computing packages (pytorch, numpy, tensorflow), AWS S3, AWS EC2, JIRA, Confluence, Docker are preferred.

Master’s or PhD level in engineering or computer science or other relevant qualification/experience is required.
