The Senior Commercial Operations Manager contributes to the overall financial performance of the corporation through development and communication of key performance metrics/trends/analyses related to overall authorization performance and directs key commercial infrastructural initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the commercial organization. Develops and transforms infrastructural support for PPD’s commercial department’s efforts.

Responsibilities:

Manages the commercial budgets facilitating and tracking changes across the various teams (Biotech, Biopharma, SPD and Marketing). Works with Finance, Executive Compensation, and HR to uniquely manage within each business unit. Leads initiative to centralize compensation plan administration and engages various departments, taking ownership of overall process and execution.Builds and establishes ownership of multi-year roadmaps, utilizing systems such as Salesforce to report and administer plans with the goal to move toward the goal of automation.Develops and manages resource allocation plans and budgets, providing forecasts and guidance on budget managementExecutes the strategy for various key commercial infrastructural initiatives aimed at enhancing the effectiveness and success of the commercial organizations.Manages sales incentive plan administration and leads efforts related to plan changes. Acts as the primary point of contact for Commercial team queries related to compensation / incentives.Identifies, develops, and implements appropriate policies to enhance the effectiveness of department processes and operations.Leads adhoc commercial projects as requested by leadership and participates in special projects outside of the Commercial organization as necessary.#LI-BK1PPD is a leading global contract research organization.
