Job Description

  • Acts as a specialized liaison with PSI departments (Business Development, Clinical Operations, Project Management, etc.) to further provide clinical sites with technical support and expertise (including, but not limited to nuclear imaging, laboratory services, etc.) during all stages of a clinical trial
  • Supports Business Development with technical information related to area of specialization needed for proposal development
  • Prepares for and attends Bid Defense Meetings, if required
  • Attends and presents at Investigator Meetings, as required
  • Assists in the design and implementation of study related forms, imaging guidelines/manuals, training materials and manuals related to area of expertise
  • Coordinates data collection related to the area of expertise, with internal and external teams
  • Provides technical project information specific to area of expertise, to project teams, sites, and Sponsor
  • Identifies, tracks, and reports specific technical timepoints in the study related to the area of expertise
  • Determines technical resources needed for project implementation, and communicates needs to appropriate department managers
  • Collaborates with department managers and vendors to secure appropriate technical training for project teams
  • Collaborates with project teams to ensure proper documentation of assessments related to area of expertise
  • Supports site initiation preparation and performs technical visits to assist site staff with technical aspects of the study
  • Assists and advises the site monitor in area of expertise
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Qualifications

  • LPN or RN with a specialty in GI (IBS, IBD, Crohn's Colitis)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the area of expertise (Gastroenterology or Endoscopy Nurse)
  • Laboratory experience a plus
  • Proficiency in standard MS Office applications
  • Proficient use of all in-house applications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting, as well as independently as needed
