Job Title: Sr. Material Buyer, China Manufacturing

Location: Guangzhou

Group/Division Summary: China Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management team

Position Summary:

This position is mainly responsible for purchasing and material management. Understand strategies for different suppliers and commodities, initiatives to meet purchasing objectives to support business needs. Manage and coordinate all procurement activities, including delivery, payment, return and supplier performance. Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and drive material supply process and procedure continual improvement to improve cost and productivities.
• Track and evaluate suppliers' performance (OTD, quality, service, etc.) and prepare periodic report, work with vendor to achieve win-win target.
• Support warehousing & storage management to achieve optimal logistics.
• Coordinate with production planner to assure the material supply in sync with production planning.
• Capable of execution material management strategy and implement digital utilization.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years equivalent experience in purchasing, working experience in biotech industry is preferable.
• Experience in Operating ERP System, knowledge of Oracle 12 or SAP system is desirable.
• Good Command of Verbal and Written English.
• Lean Manufacturing Principles knowledge be must. Have leadership to drive continuous improvement.
• Customer and service orientated Act with sense of urgency in addressing business issues.
• Bachelor’s degree or above.
