The Role:Currently we are hiring a Site Identification Specialist in Romania.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast paced, world class CRO in a dedicated, passionate team operating within a collaborative work culture where accountability and integrity are at the heart of our organization.

As a Site Identification Specialist, you will work closely with the Site Identification Functional Lead focused on identifying potential sites across Romania for studies newly awarded to ICON.  Through this role, you will enhance your prior knowledge of the local healthcare system to become a country expert on the investigator profile, healthcare setting, and standard of care to ensure that the best sites are approached for the relevant therapeutic area of interest of a given study

Your background and experience:

You will likely have a blend of the following skills. 

  • Educated with a degree in Life Sciences. 
  • We expect that you will have some previous exposure to the healthcare landscape in Romania, understanding which hospitals are particularly noted for key treatments and hence would likely have access to relevant patient populations. 
  • You will have great communication skills which will enable you to build strong relationships both internally and externally. 
  • You will be highly organized in managing to keep all the relevant documentation and data up-to-date, complete and accurate.  Ability to multi-task is essential.
