Location: Inchinnan

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm

Position Objective:

To drive continuous improvement across the entire organization, which includes a cGMP manufacturing as well as non-operational functions.

Essential Functions:
  • Provide support to develop lean expertise and capability within the organisation.
  • Drives lean thinking to build value stream management across both operations and non-operations functions.
  • Lead and facilitate training in Lean and Practical Process Improvement Principles for the organisation by implementing standard process improvement tools for both non-operations and operations departments.
  • Leads a re-invigoration of the 5S system at the site across operations functions.
  • Analyses highly sophisticated processes and partners with key business customers to find opportunities, present ideas, and make recommendations based upon analysis to further business goals.
  • Lead/work with functional teams to implement and streamline processes to improve the customer experience, enable profitable growth and become more efficient.
  • Foster an action-based culture of continuous improvement to improve critical metrics, in the areas of safety, customer, finance, people and quality.
  • Improve the decision-making model and problem-solving capabilities within impactful teams to increase autonomy and the pace of change.
  • Work with the expanded team to develop/promote/standardize the PPI Business System further.
  • Proactively collaborate with internal customers and peers using Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree minimum

Experience:

Lean Expert with experience implementing successful business systems including elements such as Lean Leadership (Strategy Deployment, Daily Accountability, Leader Standard Work, and Gemba Walks), Kaizen Events and expertise in problem solving.

  • A problem solver who can look across the value stream to integrate and streamline systems for optimal benefit.
  • Passion for driving improvement and leading change in a sophisticated, global environment.
  • Consistent track record for developing, training, and mentoring teams while implementing a Business Systems approach.
  • Great communicator, including solid written, oral and presentation-giving skills.
  • Proven track record of identifying and delivering year-over-year results using problem solving.
  • High ethical standards to support a professional business code of conduct.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with and positively influence leadership and all levels of the organization.

Role could require occasional trave approx. 10%

Role will require working in controlled environments e.g. Cleanroom.
