Location/Division Specific Information
  • Maintain accurate standard costs for Millersburg, PA and Matamoros, Mexico.
  • Responsible for the production accounting and inventory reporting & valuation of a manufacturing plant.

A Day in the Life:
  • Perform daily Standard Costing of NPI (New Product Introduction).
  • Responsible for driving the yearly cost roll to ensure accurate standard costing of material, labor, overhead, and outside processing
  • Analyze data, prepare journal entries and reconcile Inventory Balance Sheet accounts monthly.
  • Calculate Inventory Excess and Obsolete Reserve quarterly
  • Perform detail analysis related to COGS and manufacturing variances.
  • Provide detailed analysis of PPV for Procurement Team.
  • Perform cycle count audits and maintain accuracy rate metric.
  • Assist with annual budget process and all financial audits.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of monthly close activities
  • Various other projects/duties as assigned.

  • Frequent interaction with outside departments.
  • Maintains good communications with other functional groups concerning accounting and company issues. Collaborates with other employees in problem solving and process improvement.
  • Occasional interaction with senior management for purposes of presentation of financial information relative to specific project, budgeting or in general.

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related subject is required.

Experience
  • 3+ years of proven experience in cost accounting and/or finance.

  • The ability to plan, schedule and carry out work for successful project completion.
  • Ability to work independently, accurately and timely, with little or no supervision.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Appreciation and understanding of outside department functions (manufacturing, engineering, customer support, IT, order admin, marketing and sales).
  • Digital literacy, especially Microsoft Excel, Word and Access. Made to Manage, SAP or other ERP system experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles (GAAP).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $75,800.00–$101,050.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
