Revenue accountant will be reporting to the Manager of Invoicing, and will support both accounting and FP&A functions of Finance team within Fisher Bioservices business unit of CTD.

Responsibilities:

  • Compile monthly Commercial Revenue and review for accuracy, striving for Right the First Time
  • Analyze missing revenue and actively engage with Project Management for month over month revenue variances
  • Reconcile Intercompany Revenue adjustments to ensure costs and revenue match
  • Completing revenue corrections/adjustments as needed
  • Provide support to the FP&A Analyst with multiple reporting deliverables, including reviewing actuals to forecast
  • Collaborate with the Billing team to report out weekly unbilled activity
  • Reconcile unbilled balance and prepare necessary revenue adjustments on a monthly basis
  • Ensure the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities and upload procedures
  • Develop Key Performance Indicators and metrics to drive performance

Keys to Success:

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred

Experience
  • Bachelors Degree with 1+ year of related experience, Associates Degree with 3+ years of related experience or High School Diploma with 5+ years of related experience. Equivalent education and experience may be considered

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Demonstrate financial acumen in financial reporting, internal control, forecasting, analysis, and technical accounting knowledge
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives to ensure long term operational excellence
  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills, are required.
  • Proven history of participating on successful cross functional teams as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with peers and operating partners
