Location/Division Specific Information:

Within Patheon, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific in Tilburg, we are responsible for the development and production of commercial medicines in dosed forms soft gel Capsules.Position in organization:

Reports to: Area Manager

Discover Impactful Work:

The work is conducted in shifts. Production consists of the departments: Gel/Medicine/Tank wash, Dispensing/Encapsulation and Post Production. In the Gel/Medicine departments, the Gelatin, and the Medicine (respectively the casing and the filling of a capsule) are manufactured.

A day in the Life:

1. Production Coordinator works with approximately 25-30 operators in one of the Gel/Medicine, Encapsulation or Post Production departments.

2. Motivate operators to higher output and achieve the daily departmental plan

3. Act on time and correctly in case of (expected) deviations from the total plan in its shift

4. Focus on output efficient and effective C/O

5. Final responsibility to achieve KPI within his shift

Keys to Success: Education

Work and think level:

MBO/MBO+, VAPRO A/B, pharmaceutical professional or a comparable level

Introduction program Patheon Soft gels B.V. ( part of Thermo Fisher Scientific )

GMP and EH&S Basic Knowledge, skills, abilities

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Work-related objections

Forceful effort during lifting and cleaning work

Hindrance from noise and heat

Risk of injury from contact with moving equipment parts and cleaning agents

Working in various different positions, bending over, on stairs, pushing, accessibility and repetitive work

Hindrance from protective clothing such as shoes, gloves, face mask and beard/hairnet
